PESHAWAR : Khyber Pakthunkhwa Chief Minister, Ameer Haider Khan Hoti said on Wednesday that Girls Degree College Sakhkot would be named after ANP leader, Naek Amal Khan and eulogized his socio-political and educational services.Talking to journalists after offering Fateha for departed soul of ANP Naib President, Naek Amal Khan at Skhakot in Malakand Agency, he said services of Naek Amal Khan for the country and people was not hided from anyone. He said Naek Amal Khan had devoted his entire life for Pakthuns and never compromise on his principles. He said Naek Amal was a sincere politician, true patriot and ambassador of peace. The Chief Minister said ANP had lost a true and sincere leader. He announced to give party post to one of his family members.The Chief Minister record developmental projects have been started in Malakand Agency with special focus on infrastructure, education, health and water schemes. He said he would take up the issue of naming Govt Girls Degree College Sakhkot after Naek Amal in the KP Assembly. Abdul Wali Khan University campus and Sports Complex in Malakand Agency would provide better education and extra curricular activities to people which were the dreams of Naek Amal Khan.Environment Minister Wajid Khan, ANP President Afrasaib Khan Khattak, Lawangin Wali Khan and other political leaders also visited Skhkot and offered fateha for the departed soul of Naek Amal Khan.Meanwhile, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and Public Relations, Mian Iftikhar Hussain has said that personalities like late Nek Amal Khan were precious asset for any political party and due to his death the ANP was deprived of a dedicated worker and true follower of Fakhre Afghan Bacha Khan. His services for the people and his party would be remembered forever, he added. This he said while offering Fateha for the departed soul of former MPA late Nek Amal Khan at Sakhakot, Malakand Agency on Wednesday. Secretary Information Azmat Hanif Orakzai, and General Secretary ANP Tajuddin Khan were also accompanied him on the occasion.The Minister said that late Nek Amal Khan was the son of great Khudai Khidmatgar and Ghazi of Independence Movement Rahat Khan Baba who offered great sacrifices for the cause of Pakhtuns. He promised that they would follow the path of late Nek Amal Khan and would not hesitate to render any sacrifice for the unity of Pakhtuns and protection of this land.Mian Iftikhar while paying glowing tributes to the services of deceased prayed that Allah Almighty may rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss with patience.APP.
