Islamabad:25 Oct:Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) and Pakistan Scientific & Technological Information Centre (PASTIC), in collaboration with the Institute of Research Promotion (IRP), organised a one-day seminar on ‘Veterinary Vaccines in Pakistan’ here on Tuesday, says a press release.
The PSF, PASTIC and IRP under their ‘University Industry Partnership (UIP) Programme’ aimed to develop a correlation between research objectives and the industry priorities and match R&D/university research with industry needs/problems.
The dignitaries being present were Dr. Amir Muhammad Rector FAST National University (chief guest), Dr. Manzoor H Soomro Chairman PSF, Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto Director General PASTIC, Ghulam Qadar Qazi Vice Chancellor Isra University, Dr. Muhammad Afzal FAO-FMD Project consultant and Raja Aamir Iqbal Senior Vice President RCCI.
The main objectives of the seminar was to bring forward R&D issues in veterinary vaccines in Pakistan and highlight areas of priority and urgent need to enable likelihood of collaboration between R&D and Industry.The news.
