MANSEHRA:April 12: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) started work on the Rs40 million Archaeological Teaching and Conservation Research Laboratory at the Hazara University on Wednesday.Dr Nasser Ali Khan, member operations and planning of HEC, performed groundbreaking of the laboratory at a ceremony. “The laboratory would play an important role in preservation of precious monuments and archaeological assets in the country,” said Dr Nasser Ali Khan.Vice-Chancellor Hazara University Dr Sakhawat Shah and chairman conservation studies and Chief Archaeological Chemist Safdar Khan also spoke on the occasion.The news.
