Islamabad:July 21:The Roots College International (RCI), Metropolitan Campus, Sector G-8, organised an O and A-Levels guidance and counselling seminar to help students in order to improve their personal, scholastic and career development.
Dr. Thomas Ditt, cultural attaché at the German embassy, and Uzma Yousuf, country manager relationship and communication of the University of Cambridge, were present on the occasion. During an interactive session with students, Dr. Thomas Ditt shared his own educational experiences and focused on the significance of choosing a correct career path.
Uzma Yousuf acquainted the students with the University of Cambridge programmes highlighting the merits of studying abroad and the facilitations the University of Cambridge is providing to students.
The session was followed with the presentation of Walid Mushtaq, executive director of the RSS, recapitulating career counselling and supremacy to choose correct array of subjects. This would facilitate students to successfully cross cultural boundaries. He further enlightened the fact that, by introducing such new opportunities, the synergy of ever changing geo-political and socio economic environment of Pakistan would require students to be more engaged in entrepreneurship.
