PESHAWAR:18 August: A three-day Eid Gala is being organized here at Women Business Development Centre (WBDC), University Road. Vice Chancellor, Islamia College University (ICU), Peshawar, Mrs. Noor Jehan inaugurated the Eid gala.
Besides, provincial chief, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA), Javed Iqbal Khattak, Project Manager, WBDC, Nabeela Farman and a large number of women entrepreneurs and shoppers attended the gala. WBDC is a project initiated under the auspices of SMEDA of the Ministry of Industries and Production and the current Eid Gala is second of its nature since the establishment of the centre. Both women entrepreneurs and shoppers are taking keen interest in the affairs of the centre and are offering Eid shopping opportunity in a very cordial environment. Talking to media, Project Manager. WBDC, Nabeela Farman said that the objective of organizing the Eid Gala, besides, promotion of the products of local women entrepreneurs is the provision of cheap and quality products of the local designers to the people.
She said that the women entrepreneurs of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are not less in talent from the women of any part of the country. But, their only the requirement is the exposer, which is being extended through the centre.APP.
