ABBOTTABAD:Syed Kosar Naqvi: Three female students from Haripur grabbed first top three positions as the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Abbottabad announced the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) annual examination results on Tuesday.
Only 12 male students could find place in the top 20 positions. Huma Arshad of Jinnah Jamia High School and College Haripur with 985 marks got first position. Second position was grabbed by Sumbal Tariq of the same school with 983 marks while third position went to the Afrera Sultan of Sir Syed Model School, Haripur. She got 982 marks.
In boy’s science group, Muhammad Shoaib Arshad of Abbottabad Public School with 973 marks got first position, Sardar Usman Saleem of APS with 967 marks got second and Ammar Khan of Pakistan International School and College with 964 marks grabbed third position.
In the humanities female group, Maria Jabbar of Al-Quran Public School and College Mansehra with 911 marks got first position, Ayesha Siddique of GGHSS Dhamthor with 866 marks secured second and Sabila Gulzar of Mahjabeen Public School Paswal Abbottabad with 865 marks obtained third position.
In the humanities boys group, Private candidate Inayat-ur-Rehman with 830 marks got first position, followed by Fahadur Rehman of Garnish Public School Mansehra with 817 marks and Noorul Hadi, private candidate with 810 marks secured third position.
Total 50107 students appeared out of which 39504 were declared pass with the total pass percentage of 78.84 percent.
