BUNER: The police on Friday recovered bodies of two government officials who had gone missing about 12 days back in Buner district, official sources said.
The sources said Assistant District Officer (Education) Abdul Hassan of Karapa village, along with his friend Syed Qambar Bacha of the Agriculture Department, Buner, went to Mardan but did not return home. Family members of the missing persons got a first information report (FIR) registered at the Shahbaz Garha and Mardan Police Stations.

On Friday, the Mardan police found their bodies in a deserted house owned by one Ihsan Shah in Rahmanabad locality, the sources said, adding that the vehicle was also found parked in Mardan city. The family members, who were informed by the police, identified bodies of Abdul Hassan and Syed Qambar Bacha.

The police registered a case against Ihsan Shah and started investigation. Some reports suggested that the victims had been kidnapped and the captors were demanding Rs30 million as ransom for their release.The news
