PESHAWAR:April 12: A state-of-the-art chemical-glassware house has been established at the Centre of Biotechnology and Microbiology, University of Peshawar, for expediting research activities at the centre.Vice-Chancellor, University of Peshawar, Dr Qibla Ayaz on Wednesday inaugurated the chemical and glassware house established at a cost of Rs0.7million.Speaking on the occasion, Director of the Centre of Biotechnology and Microbiology Prof Dr Bashir said that the centre was established to impart biotech education through modern medico-engineering techniques. He added that the establishment of the house was to ensure timely supply of necessary research tools and provision of diagnostic facilities.He said chemicals and equipment worth Rs6 million have been provided at the house to facilitate researchers.The news.
