Chinese academic delegation visits Capital

ISLAMABAD:16 July: A delegation of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), led by Chunli Bai, is on a three-day visit to Pakistan, to explore possibilities of bilateral cooperation in science and technology.

A one-day conference with three parallel sessions will be held today (Monday) at the Pakistan Academy of Sciences.

The conference will cover the fields of Internet Security, Nano-technology and Environmental Sciences.

It is pertinent to mention here that the CAS is the most powerful scientific institution in China with over 100 world-class research institutes and science and technology universities operating under its umbrella

President Pakistan Academy of Sciences, Dr Atta-ur-Rehman and President Pakistan Academy of Sciences and President CAS, Professor Chunli Bai will also address a joint press conference on Monday afternoon at COMSTECH Secretariat, Islamabad.Nation.
