NOWSHERA: The annual debate competition was held at Army Public School and College (APS&C) the other day, read a press release issued here.
Brig Sajid iqbal jadoon was the chief guest on the occasion. Programme was started with recitation of the Holy Quran. Asma of class 7th presented Naat in urdu and Zahid Khan presented an Arabic Naat.
Topic of English debate was ‘Poverty is the root cause of all evils’. Nasreen Hassan of XI class and Said of XII expressed their arguments against the motion.
Topic of Urdu debate competition was ‘Media Moashary ki Tameer ka Zaria ha’.
Later, principal APS&C Lt Col (R) Ghulam Farid threw light on the importance of such competitions for the growth of students.
Brig Sajid Iqbal Jadoon distributed prizes among the participants and appreciated them. He also praised the efforts of the teachers and asked them to motivate all students to participate in such competitions.The news.
