DIR: The Senior Staff Association (SST) of the education department, Upper Dir, has criticised the provincial government for transferring an honest, fair and hardworking executive district officer and demanded cancellation of his transfer order.

Speaking at a press conference, SST’s Sahibzada Fazle Rabi, Sadiqullah Jan, Saeedullah and Muhammad Tahir said EDO education Ziauddin had rejuvenated the education department in Upper Dir district. They said he had visited far-off schools where no officer had gone for the last 64 years and ensured that teacher perform their duties.

“He solved problems faced by students and teachers in schools. Also, he filled all vacant posts of primary school teachers in almost all schools besides recruiting CT teachers. His performance in just a few months spoke volumes about his competence, dedication and hard-work,” the SST office-bearers said.
They said Ziauddin had taken charge of the EDO education in Upper Dir in March this year and carried out fair recruitment against vacant positions of class four and ensured merit in all the appointments.
