Eid Milad function held at APC (Iqbal)

NOWSHERA:February 23: A programme in connection with Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) was organised at the AJ Auditorium of the Army Public College (Iqbal) here the other day.

Army Service Corps Centre officers and their wives also attended the function. ASC Centre Nowshera Commandant Bri-gadier Sajid Iqbal Jadoon was the chief guest on the occasion. According to a press release, the programme started with the recitation of Holy Quran followed by Naat. Iqra from Class-VIII delivered a speech on ‘Seerat’ (life) of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Mamona and Nasrin, both 1st year students, presented Naat and Kashif delivered a speech on the topic of ‘The Holy Prophet (PBUH) as Model for Humanity’.
Principal Lt Col (R) Ghulam Farid explained in light of the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) the need for acquiring knowledge. Later, Brigadier Jadoon gave away prizes to participants.The news.
