FATEHJANG, May 31: Former state minister for defence production Sardar Saleem Haider has promised to provide funds from MNAs quota for extension of the building of Government Boys Elementary School, Dhoke Sello.
He said this during his visit to the school with Executive District Officer (Education) Attock, Abdul Khaliq Bhatti.
Mr Haider said without education no nation could make progress, and his government was giving priority to this sector. He said four rooms and a veranda would be added to the present building of the school.
He also promised to provide electricity, washrooms and renovate two rooms of Government Girls Primary School, Dhoke Sello, which is in a very poor condition.
He also said Rs3.5 million would be made available for reconstruction of Dhoke Sello link road from his annual MNA development funds during the year 2011-12.Dawn
