IIUI Conference on “Pakistan, South Asia, and Muslim Societies”

Islamabad: 24 Feb: International Islamic University (IIU) Islamabad has announced that The Iqbal International Institute for Research and Dialogue (IRD) of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) in collaboration with American Council for the Study of Islamic Societies (ACSIS) and South Asian Muslim Studies Association (SAMSA) has planned to host 28th Annual Conference of the ACSIS in Islamabad on 6-7 March 2012. The title of the 2-day Conference is “Pakistan, South Asia, and Muslim Societies.” The venue of the Conference would be Quaid-e-Azam Auditorium, Faisal Mosque Campus, International Islamic University Islamabad.
Renowned American and Pakistani academicians/scholars would present papers on the general theme/sub-theme of the conference that will be attended by intellectuals, policy makers, representatives of civil society, faculty members, research students of International Islamic University and F.C. College University, Lahore”.
