ISLAMABAD:March 02: A team of students from the Faculty of Management Sciences of the International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI), was given special cash prizes for coming in the top 10 university teams at the Entrepreneurial Business Plan competitions held at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) and the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi
The students provided solutions for ‘healthy life and environment’ in their business plan idea ‘Organic Farming’. The team suggested that various diseases like hepatitis, diabetes, colon cancer, and a number of heart diseases could be prevented by the use of organic farming. Students Imran Khizar, Samiur Rehman, Naveed Ilyas, Numair Nisar and Muhammad Mubeen Sarwar won a prize of Rs 20,000 at the Discover-NUST Competition. University Rector Prof Fateh Muhammad Malik and President Sahibzada Sajidur Rehman congratulated the students for their brilliant performance and announced a Rs 20,000 prize for them on behalf of the IIUI. pr.Daily Times.
