PESHAWAR:17 May: The activists of Imamia Students Organisation (ISO) on Wednesday staged rally in connection with the “Down with the US and Israel Day.”
The protesting students led by ISO leaders were holding placards and banners inscribed with slogans against the US, Israel and Western countries. They also raised slogans against Israeli atrocities on innocent Palestinians. The speakers condemned the Israeli violence against Palestinians and demanded an end to killings of Muslims. They condemned the US and Western countries for supporting Israel.
PARACHINAR: The Imamia Students Organisation (ISO) on Wednesday took out a rally in upper Kurram Agency against the United States to mark May 16 as a day of protest to highlight the US cruelties in the world. Taken out from the Imamia House, the rally culminated at the Shaheed Park in Parachinar town. The protesters were holding placards and banners inscribed with slogans against the US and Israel.
Addressing the rally, the speakers including Allama Hilal Hussain, Raza Hussain, Murtaza Hussain and others said that May 16 was marked as the “Down with the US Day” every year. They said their organisation would voice concern and arrange protests till the elimination of the US-led violence throughout the world.
They asked the US to stop meddling in the internal affairs of Pakistan and leave the South Asia region forthwith. They condemned the desecration of the holy Quran in the US and called for trial of the culprit.The news.
