PESHAWAR:02 March: The students of University of Peshawar have facing difficulties in continuing their education due to introduction of self-finance scheme and increase in annual fee.
This was stated by the Campus Nazim of Islami Jamiat Talba, Mian Sohabuddin Kaka Khel in a meeting on Thursday.
He said that introducing the self-finance scheme in educational institutions proved that the government had been failed to formulate/ established standard policy for education in country.
Mian Sohabuddin Kaka Khel also said that such type of steps create hurdle for students to get education.
Nazim maintained that most of the students left their education due to increasing in different fees like examination, admission, hostel charges etc. similarly he stated that after completing some of the students compels on illegal activities like bribe to recovered the money which was spent on education.
The student leader of the Jamaat demanded of Chancellor of the University Governor Masood Kausar, high officials and university administration to withdrawal increasing of fees and self-finance scheme otherwise they would stage protest.Daily Times.
