ISLAMABAD:23 May: The Allama Iqbal Open University will concentrate on launching educational programmes that help students earn their livelihood and take part in overall socio-economic development of the country, said Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nazir Ahmed Sangi on Tuesday while addressing the launch of MS Management Sciences and MPhil (Economics) programmes for the spring semester 2012.
Prof Sangi said the AIOU was engaged in introducing new skilled-based and indigenous technical know-how programmes aimed at enhancing the students’ participation in economic activities. He urged the AIOU’s students across the country to play their role in ending country’s problems. The students, he asserted, must follow the universal message of the Quran in their practical life.Daily Times.
