JUI-F leader asks forces not to ‘harass’ seminary students

CHAKDARRA: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Senator Maulana Gul Naseeb on Tuesday asked the security forces not to “harass” the clerics and seminary students. Talking to reporters after addressing a gathering of party workers, he alleged that the security forces were creating problems for the local population, especially seminary students and members of the Tablighi Jamaat, in Adezai tehsil of Lower Dir, Dargai in Malakand Agency and Barikot (Swat). He said that peace was restored to Malakand Division after the common people and security forces rendered unprecedented sacrifices. He asked the high-ups of security forces to look into the matter as it was creating hatred among the people against the forces.Daily Times.
