Islamabad:May 21:The Mohammad Ali Jinnah University held 1st International Conference on Emerging Trends in Management: ICETM 2012, at its Islamabad Campus, says a press release.
The purpose of this conference was to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas on the latest business developments in the field of management among researchers and practitioners in universities and industries and to seek opportunities for collaboration among the participants.
Over 200 scholarly contributions from 11 countries were received. After a careful review 54 papers were selected for the conference presentation in seven sessions and for foreign scholars, who were very keen to come to Pakistan, but could not travel due to visas and other issues; were provided opportunity to present their papers online.
In the opening session Dr. Ijaz Shafi Gillani, Chairman Gallup Pakistan, was the chief guest and delivered the keynote speech on globalisation and its impact on the life of human on planet earth. Deans and senior faculty members of leading academic institutions of Islamabad inducing Dr. Muhammad Bashir Khan, Dr. Kashif-ur-Rehman, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Sajid, Dr. Kamran Naqi Khan, Moin Uddin, Dr. Mueen Zafar, and Atle Hetland, a well known Norwegian Researcher, journalist and columnist participated as chair, co-chair and participants in the conference.The news.
