More teachers to be hired to make up for shortage: Babak

PESHAWAR:November 13: Minister for Education Sardar Hussain Babak assured that the vacant post of science teachers in government schools would soon be filled.He was talking to a delegation of Malgaray Ustazan at his office on Saturday. The delegation was led by Provincial President of the teachers’ association Islam-ud-Din Khan.Minister on the occasion said the shortage of science teachers was one of the main problems faced by the government schools but the present government had been trying its best to upgrade the standard of education and this shortage of teachers would soon be solved.He further said that the teachers on these vacant posts would be appointed on merit and for this purpose the directives were already issued by him to the department authorities.Sardar Hussain Babak said the precious time of the students would not be wasted as science teaches had a vital role in the education sector. The delegation thanked the minister for his efforts in solving the problems faced by the teachers.F.P. Report.
