Naat & Qirat competition

Islamabad: National Press Club (NPC) on Friday organized a Naat and Qirat competition for the children of journalists.There were three categories in both the competitions class 1 to 5, class 6 to 8 and class 9th and 10th. The first prize was Rs10,000, second Rs7,000 and third Rs3,000. The competition was held separately for the girls and boys.National Press Club President Afzal Butt said that main objective of the Naat and Qirat competition was to encourage the journalists to spend some time for qualitative development of their children. He said the competition was strictly limited only for the children of journalists.NPC also arranged Iftar dinner for the participants and their families.The news.
