Islamabad:May 24:NUST launched its first official Alumni Association in an impressive ceremony held here on Wednesday.
NUST Alumni Association (NAA) will be a non-profit organisation and work for the unification of NUST alumni, the university, students and its faculty. NUST Rector Engineer Muhammad Asghar presided over the ceremony in which the Presidents of Alumni Associations of various NUST Schools and Colleges, Senior Alumni, Commandants and Principals of NUST constituent Schools and Colleges participated.
Amcolians Alumni Association President Dr. Mazhar Ishaq, Signalians Alumni Association President Ammar Khan and College of E&ME Alumni Association President Adnan Shahid also gave presentations about their respective alumni associations and appreciated the concept, which is to establish and maintain lifelong relationships between the university and its alumni centred around ownership and support.
The rector in his remarks said that alumni associations of individual schools and colleges of NUST are now official associations of the university and part of NUST Alumni Association.The news.
