Peshawar: 09 March: University of Peshawar has approved release of research grant amounting to rupees fifteen million for thirty two M. Phil and P. hD scholars students of the University studying in three different faculties namely faculty of social sciences, faculty of life and environmental sciences and faculty of numerical and physical sciences. This was decided in a meeting of the research grant approval committee held on Monday with dean faculty of arts and Humanities University of Peshawar Prof. Dr. Farooq Swati in chair.
The committee after thoroughly analyzing the research needs like travelling, equipment needed and other necessary requirements laid down by the scholars in their research proposal have approved the grant to students after justification and consent of their supervisors.
The research grant meeting for the students of the rest of three faculties of UoP would soon be held.
