Peshawar: 11 May: Majority of the minority students in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are pursuing their higher education at University of Peshawar. As many as sixty three students from minorities are enrolled in various departments of varsity and include Christians, Hindu, Sikh and Kalash etc.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has announced initiating award of scholarships for deserving minority students studying in KP Universities and institutes in the month of April, 2012 .
The directorate of admissions, University of Peshawar has compiled lists of the minority students and communicated the same to the concerned government department for release of scholarships to them.
