PESHAWAR: March 10: Governor Masood Kausar said on Friday that quality should be attached greater value while promoting higher education.
He said this while chairing the annual meeting of board of governors of Edwardes College, Peshawar.
According to a press release, the meeting reviewed the college’s Vision-2013 and its financial report in addition to giving approval to a proposal vis-à-vis gradual upgradation of the college to a degree-awarding institution.
“It also allowed the college’s management to go ahead for academic, faculty and curricular development in line with the laid down criteria of the Higher Education Commission,” it said. The meeting decided that the college would gradually adopt the four-year graduate degree programme.Daily Times.
