SWABI:February 25: Suspected militants destroyed a government school in Swabi district by planting explosives at the building while another bomb was defused in the premises of the institution on Friday, police said. In the first incident, the explosives were planted at the building of Government Primary School for Boys in the Khat Killay. In the blast, two rooms of the school were destroyed and another two were partially damaged. The sources said two bombs had been planted at the school and the bomb disposal unit defused one of the devices. In a separate incident, the gates of the Lakson Tobacco Company in Yar Hussain village were damaged in an explosion, the police said. However, no casualty was reported.The news.
