Islamabad: The newly elected student council of Beaconhouse School System Margalla Campus (Boys Branch) sworn in a ceremony here on Friday.

The members of the student council serve as an effective link between the student body and the administration. They seek to address concerns of the student body and to foster a strong academic community abiding by the school policies. They vowed to abide by the creed of their Alma Mater and fulfill their duties according to their respective portfolios to the best of their abilities. Parents of the new student council also participated in the event.

The programme began with the recitation from the Holy Quran by Moazzam Ali followed by its translation and after the welcome note by Naila Sohail, General Manager North Ayesha Aziz was requested to take oath and confer the newly formed student council members with sashes.

The student body consisted of the following students who were brimming with confidence to shoulder the newly assigned duties were, Haider Babar Ali khan Head Boy, Deputy Head boy Sharoz Bakhtiar, House Captain Hawk Mustafa Shahzad, House Captain Kestrels Salar malik, house captain eagles Rohail Azhar, House Captain Falcons Zain Humayun, Sports captain Ahmed Nabi, President Debating society, Vice President Debating Society, President Science Society, Vice President Science Society, President Environmental Society , Vice President Environmental Society , President Community Services Society ,Vice President Community Services Society , President Dramatic Society, Vice President Dramatic Society, President Art Society ,Vice President Art Society president IT , Society Vice President IT society, President maths society ,Vice President maths society, President Literary Society Correspondent TBT, Assistant Correspondent TBT, President science society and Vice President science society along with senior prefects took the oath.
