ISLAMABAD:28 April: Students from southern Punjab on Friday alleged that conspiracies were being hatched against the creation of Saraiki province.
Expressing solidarity with Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, they said that “he is the voice of Saraiki people and it cannot be silenced”.
A public demonstration was organised by Saraiki Students Alliance (Islamabad-Rawalpindi) on Friday in which dozens of students from Federal Arid University (FAU), Federal Urdu University (FUU) and Quaid-e-Azam University participated.
They were raising slogans in favour of the prime minister and the proposed Saraiki province. “Saraiki people have fully given their democratic and popular verdict in favour of the PM during the recently-held by-election in Multan.
