Tribal students of Colleges demand resumption of scholarships

PESHAWAR: Khyber Student Union of Government Technical College of Fata demanded scholarships which have been denied to them for the last three years. Khyber Student Union protested in front of Peshawar Press Club in which students from all technical colleges of tribal areas were present. The protest was lead by Central General Secretary Khyber Students Union Muslim Khan Afridi. Addressing the protestors, he said that it was injustice that the FATA Secretariat was not giving scholar ships. He said that scholarships were given every year regularly to the students of general education colleges. He appealed the Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Barrister Masood Kausar, Fata MPAs and MNAs to solve the problem. He said that if our demand were not met then students of all tribal area technical colleges would stage a sit-in in front of Fata Secretariat.F.P Report.
