Unesco official visits AWKU

MARDAN: Director of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (Unesco) Kozue Kay Nigasta visited the main campus of Abdul Wali Khan University on July 4. The visit was paid in connection with the evaluation and sustainability of the ‘Mapping of Cultural Assets’ project funded by the Norwegian government and completed by Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan, in collaboration with the Unesco, Islamabad. AWKU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Ihsan Ali briefed the Unesco official and his team about the project. The visiting team highly appreciated the efforts made by the project team under his supervision.
