ISLAMABAD: The 23rd International Cultural Week at the International Islamic University (IIU) Female Campus ended here on Wednesday after three-day long celebrations.
The event ended with the prize distribution ceremony, which took place at the Auditorium in female campus of Islamic university.
A one-day Cultural Exhibition and International Cultural Dress Show at the Faisal Masjid Campus of the university preceded the event.
Ambassador of Malaysia Dato Ahmad Anwaar Bin Adnan was the chief guest on the occasion.
IIU President Dr Mumtaz Ahmad, Rector Prof Fateh Muhammad Malik and Director Female Campus Prof Qaiserah Alvi also attended the event. The ceremony was also attended by a large number of students. Prizes were given for the cultural stalls, dress show, sports and other co-curricular activities.
China had been declared as the first position holder in the cultural stalls, dress show and food items as well.Daily times
