Peshawar: 19 July: The three one day and two T20 cricket series between physically compromised ( special) cricket teams of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan and Afghanistan gets underway at University of Peshawar with a T20 match on Thursday in front of Hostel two ground.Batting first Pakistan Kp team set a gigantic target of 220 for 2 in the allotted twenty overs with major contribution of 103 from the elegant centurion Muhammad Ashraf. The visitors managed to score one hundred and twenty in reply, leading to a 99 runs win to the hosts. Muhammad Ashraf was declared as man of the match. Earlier both the teams were introduced with Vice Chancellor University of Peshawar Prof. Dr. Azmat Hayat Khan.Addressing the players, Dr. Azmat said that visit of special people cricket team of Afghanistan to Pakistan is a very good step. He said that people of Both Pakistan and Afghanistan have close cultural and religious ties and visits of teams to each other countries would further help in strengthening it.He later presented University souvenir to both the team
