My dear Cousin
I am sorry I could not invite you for a pretty long time. This was due to my confinement to bed. I have just got rid of illness. I did not inform you intentionally. Perhaps it would have disturbed your studies.
On the 10th of the last month. I had a sudden attack of typhoid. I felt very tired and passed sleepless nights. Doctor Sarwar treated me for ten days. But there was no improvement. So we had to call Dr. Chughtai. He started giving me two injections daily. I was allowed nothing to but liquid food. Mother and Naila attended me day and night. They also had sleepless nights along with me. Now I am feeling better. The temperature has come to normal but I do feel physically weak. I am taking nourishing diet.
How is aunt? Pay my respect to her. Please also let me know you are pulling on with your studies.
