One day a stag was standing by the edge of a pool of water. He saw his reflection in the clear water of the pool. He admired his beautiful horns but felt ashamed of his ugly thin legs.
He was lost in such thoughts when a pack of hounds made their appearance on the other side of the pool. His ugly legs helped him to run fast but his horns of which the stag was so proud. Caught in the bush. They prevented him from making good his escape. The hounds seized the stag in his dying hour his beautiful horns were the cause of his death.
