Once there arose a dispute between the sun and the wind. Each of them claimed to be stronger than the other. None of htem would give in and they decided to settle the title of superiority by show of strength.
They saw a traveler plodding along the road they shouted with one voice Whoever succeeds in forcing the traveler to take off his coat will be declared the stronger of the two.
The wind was the first to take its chance. It blew hard and fast. The stronger it blew. The tighter the traveler clasped his coat. The wind failed and allowed the sun to have his chance.
The sun shown bright. It grew hotter and hotter until the traveler was obliged to take off his coat. The wind was sorry for its mistake.
