Once a lion wa lying asleep. A frightened mouse ran across his body. The lion was disturbed in his sleep and became furious to see a mouse fearlessly climbing over his body. In his rage he was going to kill the mouse who begged for mercy saying I am to tiny a creature to satisfy your hunger. If you spare my life I may be of service to you some time. The king of the forest enjoyed a haughty laugh but took pity and let it go.
It so happened that after a few weeks the same lion was caught in a net set up by the some hunters who had hidden somewhere to avoid meeting the king of the forest. The lion felt uneasy under this net. He tried his best to free himself but in vain. He gave up his efforts in despair. The mouse happened to pass that way it greeted and comforted the lion. It soon nibbled several ropes and said to the lion. Try and you will succeed. The lion did as he was asked to. He thanked the mouse as he leapt out of the net.
