A dog was crossing a narrow bridge across a stream. He had a piece of meat in his mouth. He happened to see his own reflection in the clear water. He thought it to be another dog with a large piece of meat in his mouth. He wished to get the other piece of meat from his own shadow. He barked at the other dog and his own piece of meat fell into the water and was lost. It is true that greed is a curse.
Moral: Do not be greedy.
