5th convocation Bahria University Karachi 224 bachelors, 333 masters degrees awarded
Karachi:The Bahria University conferred 224 bachelor and 333 masters degrees in various disciplines including BBA, BSE, BCE, BS MSc, MS, MBA and executive MBA on its passing out graduates of 2007 and 2008 in its 5th convocation held on Saturday.
It also awarded 14 gold, eight silver medals and four merit certificates to its outstanding students who had secured top positions in different disciplines.
Acting Governor and Sindh Assembly Speaker Nisar Ahmed Khuhro said that he had great expectations from young graduates not only as students but also leaders of tomorrow.
Bahria University Rector, Vice Admiral (retd) M Haroon, said that the university had taken many initiatives which were reflected in its excellent academic strength and standing. BU Director Capt (retd) Ashfaq Agha said that the recent addition of MBA in Pharmaceutical Business Management for the very first time in Asia was the sign of the universitys commitment with its students and the nation.
