Karachi University to expel students involved in politics

The Karachi University Syndicate, in its meeting on Monday, has decided that future, students indulging in politics will be expelled from the university.

Besides the political organizations of students will be not be recognized by the varsity authorities and their respective posters, flags, notice boards will also be removed with immediate effect from the campus.

Moreover, Rangers will be posted at the gathering points of different political group. It was also decided that putting on ID Cards by all the students, teachers, officers and non-teaching staff would be mandatory during their stay in the Campus.

The meeting also proposed that a contingent of 150 Rangers should be allotted specially for the Campus. However, it was also proposed that Rangers should also be answerable to the Vice Chancellor of the Karachi University. By amending the disciplinary rules, the fine fee has been increased from Rs 500 to 1000.
