Foreign tours for tech education students
Lahore:July 06: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, on the request of PBTE, has approved foreign university visits and cash prizes for encouraging the top position holders of technical education.
Earlier, only top position holders of formal education were accorded with foreign university visits and cash prizes. PBTE requested for budgetary allocation amounting to Rs 13.293 million, out of which 2.7 million for cash prizes to top position holders, 1.350 million for cash prizes to the heads and teachers of top position holders and Rs 9.243 million for foreign university visits of top position holders. This step of the chief minister has been highly appreciated in social and education sectors.
