University of Balochistan Vice Chancellor discusses unpleasant situation with Colleges heads

QUETTA Aug 18 (PPI): A meeting of the heads of various colleges of Quetta was held at the University of Balochistan here Monday under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Masoom Yasinzai. The meeting reviewed the situation arisen due to the unpleasant incident occurred between the students in Quetta recently and discussed threadbare various suggestions to promote brotherhood among the students in different educational institutions in Balochistan especially the provincial metropolis and to end the misunderstandings among them. A Committee comprising the Vice Chancellor and Principals of all the Colleges of Quetta was formed on the occasion. The Committee would meet the civil society representatives for normalizing the situation in the educational institutions so as also to save the precious academic time of the students and ensure holding of different examinations as per schedule. The meeting decided that till the normalization of the situation, teaching process in the Bolan Medical College, Agriculture College Beleli and University of Balochistan Quetta would remain suspended. However, all the faculty members of the University of Balochistan have been directed to remain present on their duties as usual.
