PU academician presents paper on ‘US terrorism policy’
Lahore:13 July: The In-charge of Punjab University Institute of communication Studies (PU-ICS) Dr Noshina Saleem has presented her paper on “Framing US Policy Regarding Terrorism in Responsibility-Sensational Media Matrix: A Pakistani Case Study” at a conference in Bonn, Germany. The conference Deutsche Welle Media Dialogue 2013 was on the main topic entitled, “Pakistan’s Media Landscape: The Effects of Liberalization.” The event was organised by Deutsche Welle Academia and Bonn-Rhine-Seig University of Applied Sciences, Bonn, Germany. Over 10 papers were presented by scholars from around the world including Pakistan. Dr Noshina’s paper remained the focus of attention of the conference as students and faculty of social sciences showed special. Her paper has also been selected for publication in Journal of University of Applied Sciences, Bonn-Rhine-Sieg. Dr Noshina also participated in ARD channel media dialogue in Berlin and presented her point of view as media academician.
