King Edward Medical University (KEMU) allocates Rs 10m for research work
Lahore: The King Edward Medical University (KEMU) has allocated Rs 10 million for various research projects of faculty members. The decision was taken during the special session of the Academic Council, chaired by KEMU Vice-Chancellor Muhammad Zafarullah Khan. The KEMU vice-chancellor said that a formal committee would approve the various research projects, adding that a separate committee would ensure the quality of the research thesis. The extracts of the research projects would be published in international journals such as "Anals of KEMU", he added. He directed the faculty members to take keen interest in their research. He also announced that the postgraduate medical education and training would be restructured according to modern techniques and international standards. Daily Times
