Swat Varsity Launches College of Home Economics
MINGORA:August 05: The University of Swat has launched the College of Home Economics in Saidu Sharif on the pattern of the one in the University of Peshawar (UoP) to provide more learning facilities to girls in the region.
A press release issued on Sunday said the girls who had passed the Secondary
School Certificate (SSC)
examination could enroll for the four-year BS Home Economic at the newly established institute.
Those interested in admission could submit applications for admission by August 15.
The university administration has encouraged parents and students to take maximum advantage of the BS Home Economics in Swat as now their daughters would not go for this degree to UoP.The four-year course
comprises of subjects in human development, management, art and décor, food
and nutrition and textile and clothing, etc.
