Lecture on Pak-India peace process

LAHORE: Punjab University Centre for South Asian Studies (CSAS) arranged a special lecture on "Pak-India Peace Process" in the seminar hall of the centre. In his lecture, Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, Department of Defense and Strategic Studies Chairperson Dr Riffat Hussain focused o the composite dialogue between the two countries. He was of the view that both peace and war will affect the South Asian Region to a larger extent in any case. After Mumbai attacks, the strategy of Indian government and their media's role show that the future peace between Pakistan and India is still a far cry. Centre Director Prof Dr Muhammad Saleem Mazhar said that the young students and scholars should participate in such lectures so that they remained up to date.F.P. Report
