KU inks MoU with Pakistan Security Printing Press
Karachi : September 29: University of Karachi has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Pakistan Security Printing Press for printing degrees. According to an official statement, made by the KU spokesperson, the arrangement was aimed at eliminating any chance of printing of fake degrees. The university spokesperson pointed out that special paper and ink would be used for the printing the degrees. The preparation of the paper would take three to four months’ time after which the printing of the degrees would commence. The degree would also carry the KU watermark. Under the MoU, 300,000 degrees of 30 various programmes would be printed on the special paper. After printing, the degrees would be kept at the store of the Security Printing Press and would be brought from there according to the need, it was further stated. app.
