NAB workshop for youth
LAHORE:THE National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Punjab, held a day long workshop for the youth on Eradication of Corruption in Pakistan - Hopes & Challenges for the Futurehere at Chamba House.
The students and faculty members from the leading educational institutions of Lahore attended the workshop.
The broad objective of the workshop was to create awareness against corruption amongst the youth and emphasise on character building, ethics, respect for rules and regulations enabling the youth to become responsible citizens.
The workshop was conducted in three sessions in which series of lectures were delivered by National Accountability Bureau Officers on various topics related to corruption besides holding interactive sessions with the participating students. The students were also made aware of the International Anti-Corruption efforts as well as in-country accountability process in order to develop zero tolerance against corruption.
The chief guest on the occasion Shahnawaz Badar, Director General, National Accountability Bureau, Punjab, gave away certificates to the participants of the workshop besides administering oath of integrity to the students.
