Boys, girls schools working without basic facilities In Daska

DASKA (PPI): All the government primary boys and girls schools of Daska tehsil have been working without the basic facilities as a result of which students and the teaching staff are facing great hardships. No one has ever bothered to improve the pitiable conditions of these prolonged neglected primary schools, negating the high claims of Sialkot district government, regarding providing quality education facilities besides providing all the missing facilities in these schools by spending billions of rupees annually. These ground realities are the eye openers for the concerned higher official, besides denying all their claims. The total population of Daska tehsil is 0.8 million and there are 215 government primary schools, 23 middle schools, 19 secondary schools and two higher secondary schools working in Daska tehsil. Majority of these government primary schools present the dismal picture as the buildings of these schools are in miserable condition. One would wonder to see the pitiable condition of these schools. Shortage of teaching staff, non-availability of electricity and potable water and furniture are the main problems in these schools which are dire need to be solved amicably. Daska tehsil's government schools have been divided into four Markaz namely Daska, Motra, Satrah and Bambaanwala. In Markaz Satrah, 50 government schools for boys are imparting education out of which 11 schools have no boundary walls, 16 schools are without toilets and six schools (in villages Guru Chak, Loharaanwali, Lullar, Jhulki, Parali, Dhundal and Ghud Wali ) have no buildings. The innocent students sit under the trees in summer season, they sit under the sun in winter season and every rain also brings a holiday for the students of these-building-less schools. In Markaz Motra, there 20 primary schools which have no boundary walls, 30 schools have no toilets or no drinking water facility, while the schools in villages Kaanwan Lit and Jaamkey Cheema No. 2 have no buildings. In Markaz Bambaanwala, there are 30 primary and eight middle schools in this Markaz. Out of which 4 primary schools have no boundary walls and four schools have no toilets. Four schools are without teaching staff. While five primary schools (in villages Fateh Bhinder, Goindkey, Bhoonaanwali, Wahu Warrayam and Kotli Lala) are comprising only one room while the rest classes' students are forced to get education while sitting under the trees.F.P.
