Govt for Reforms to Improve FDE’s Functioning
ISLAMABAD:March 14: The government is making all efforts to bring about reforms in the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) for further improving its functioning.

State Minister for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhary said. He said that these reforms in FDE would prove to be fruitful in managing 422 schools, colleges of the federal capital. Tariq Fazal said that the federal government is formulating rules and regulation which would ultimately improve affairs of FDE and other institutions. He said that the capable and efficient professionals are being inducted in the FDE to further enhance its performance. The CADD state minister said that the government educational institutions of the urban and rural areas of the federal capital are being renovated by ensuring facilities. In the first phase, half schools out of 22 from rural and urban areas have been renovated, he added. He said that renovation of the 200 institutions would be completed in next six to eight months. He said that teachers of math and science subjects are being hired. Teachers training courses are also being started to bring about a change in the educational institutions, he added.The news.
